I ran a 1 farad stinger cap for my 1,000 watt amp and it worked great. Big difference vs. w/o.

Make sure you get a good one (at least $100)

Caps really dont do much. Its a waste of money look in to a battery or big 3 wire up grade. the money u will spend on a cap and the wires for it u can get some 1/0 ga wire for the big 3 at knu

ive used one before, didnt make a difference for me. luckily it was free, or it would have been a $100 mistake that didnt make a difference in performance

My stinger cap kept my voltage at or above 13.5 v compared to 10.5 w/o the cap.

what did you have? as far as amplifiers etc..

2 10"l5's w/ a memphis pr1kd that did well over 1000 watts rms.

In a S-10 extreme

I promise you the Stinger caps do work
