i have 05 civic, probably very similar alt(if not the same) combination stinger power series batt and my 3 farad stinger cap keeps 1300 rms as well as indash dvd and HID headlights running smoothly...

the 1 yellow top that i could find to fit my car that i tried to purchase ended up not being able to hold a charge and got returned.....ive also heard countless number of stories online of YT's being DOA or shortly after purchase going bad.....

Buying a new bat isn't going to make a substantial impact unless your current one is in poor condition. It all boils down to the alternator.

big 3, bigger alt, bigger amp.. in that order, id get a 900+ watt amp, little headroom will be nice

forget cap or battery, you wont need those if you have the right size alt

figure 70 (alt) amps per 1000 watts
