capacitor question

Wire it in parallel with the power and ground wires as close to amplifier as you can get it.

Positive from battery to cap to amp.

Ground wire to cap to amplifier.

and for the love of all things good and holy, remember to disconnect the fuse at the battery before starting work...big sparks around electrolytics is not something you'd want to get into //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yeah i have had some preaty big sparks in my time of car audio.. i dont have instructions to the capacitor, my buddys dad is the used car manager of dodge in an automall in my area and i helped his son out and installed his system for him so his dad gave me the capacitor that he grabbed off a car that got traded in.. no wires, all i have is the capicitor... so i have to run the power and the ground wire into the positive side of the capacitor and run a power and groud cord to the amp out of the negative side???

wiring it in parallel means you connect a positive lead from the power wire to the cap, and a ground wire from the cap to ground, without breaking the circuit. Does that make sense?

holy crap. this is exactally what its gonna be like...

battery+------posative------+amp (posative or BAT+ terminal)

.....................capicator

ground-------negative--------amp (negative or GND terminal)

basically shuv the cap in between the wires.

the POWER wire goes from battery to your fuse, from your fuse to the POSTATIVE terminal on the cap, to the POSATIVE terminal on your amp.

the GROUND wire goes from the GROUND to the NEGATIVE terminal on the cap, then to your NEGATIVE\GND terminal on the amp.

very simple (this is parallel)

next time, use the search. good luck.
