Dont start flamin me right away lol listen to my situation. I guess its not really a capacitor question, more rather just a power question.

Okay, so this weekend the Hercules should be going in, along with a Kinetik2400 and A Big3 done with 1/0ga. I have been reading that although these modifications help with electrical flow, there could still be dimming and whatnot while the alternator catches up with the battery. In this situation, would having a capacitor be beneficial, or would it only put unnecessary strain on my alternator? Will that extra storage of power help with that bit of dimming, or for this matter is this little fix not going to be worth the stress on the alternator? I have a stock 130a alternator, BTW

^ agreed

Capacitors weren't designed to fix dimming under any circumstances.

You already know your problem is that your alternator isn't able to supply the needed power, why would you think that doing anything other than upgrading your alternator would fix the problem?
