Capacitor question of sorts

Hola!

So, right now I have a JL 500/1 amp running two 10w3's and a Rockford 150/2 watt amp running my three way component set. As it stands right now when I'm driving home from college at night my headlights will dim a few feet on every base hit when the volume is turned up to normal. Not a huge deal to me, that's easy enough to deal with.

However, I'm planning on getting a 300/2 amp to upgrade my Rockford which would increase the power strain on my system as a whole. Thus, my logic would have me believe, my headlights are going to take an even bigger dive on every base hit then they already are since more power will be relegated elsewhere.

Due to that bit of logic, I've been thinking about a capacitor. After reading a bit though, many of you seem to loath them and think they are unnecessary for anyone not going for spl in competitions, or something along those lines.

Is installing a cap a reasonable fix to a foreseeable problem?

Is the problem going to happen at all? That is, increased dimming of the headlights.

Other remedies?

Wow!

How that didn't come up in any of my searches baffles me.

Thank you sir, this post of mine is now pointless. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
