Capacitor or no capacitor

Wtf is that? Looks like the inside of an atomic bomb lol

I see so many recommending that people toss hid kits in their cars. The best quality drop in hid kit will still blind the **** out of oncoming drivers. What's sad is that it's illegal but isn't enforced at all in California.

Kinda frustrating that I spent decent money to retrofit in projectors in my cars just so I don't blind everyone to have a raised pickup truck blinding everyone.

This topic = a lot of stupidity. You get responses like, hey I don’t know nothing about electricity but I can tell you that caps don’t work.

Funny, I was looking at older posts and seeing everyone recommending caps, bet it's the same bunch who jump on you for installing one. I still have my cap that I paid $15 for years ago and it still holds a charge plus I like the voltage display. I will not be purchasing a new one when this one goes but there is no reason for me to trash one. Back when people were swearing that they will fix dimming and help low powered system I always knew that was false. I got it as it was cheap, looked cool at the time and I was quite certain that it wouldn't hurt the system.

I've even seen someone say "Everyone knows that capacitors can negatively affect your system". How the hell is that possible unless it is throwing extremely high voltages or is broken. Any broken component can negatively effect your system. Not helping ≠ negatively affecting. On that note, I can without researching, say that EDL Capacitors will have a positive effect on your system, the same as a second battery would.

Adding resistance to your power source is not good.. will it have a noticeable negative effect? Maybe not.
