Soundstream has wiring diagrams google it!! And a capacitor isnt always the answer ive owned a capacitor they arent that good for big amps you probably need to go with a battery.

Put it too sleep wit the fishes IF you can't get your money back for it first? if i've learned nothing else on here it's that caps or WORTHLESS in every way possible....but a small kinetik 600 or somethimg similar-big 3- lower guage wiring,better rca's anything besides the "cap"

If it's wired right and it's "leaking" it would be draining your battery as well. It isn't wired right.

And no I wouldn't tell you that "out on the street" for the simple reason that I wouldn't talk to you on the street or probably be in your part of town...

^^^^^if the cap drains and is hooked up correct, then the battery would be dead every time the cap goes dead. they should be connected together:fyi:

This is the way it should work. Battery pos, amp pos, and cap pos should all be connected, somehow.

Same for negative.
