Hmmm...
I just redid the sound system in one of my cars this weekend and now have a problem. I reran all my wiring and refused everthing. Now for the problem
, when I removed the capacitor I did uncharge it the correct way. When it came time for me to connect it back I also charged it the correct way. I then connected everthing from the cap and out to the amp made sure everything was grounded correctlly. Then when I came to turn on the stereo it plays for about 2 or 3 seconds and then cuts off, the capacitor readout goes blank
. When I turn the stereo off the cap will come back on and gradually go up on the charge like if it is being recharged
. The stereo keeps playing and my front speakers play fine its just the cap and the amp. Obviously there is probably a short somewhere, but since I start work tommorrow and wont have any daylight untill next weekend I kind of wanted to get some opinions before I can get back to it. I have never had this happen before:help: .
