hey guys im thinking about buying a farad cap..i want to know what to look for.. how many farad etc..also i want to know about fusing them will i need to fuse it from the bat to the cap and then from the cap to the amp or what?

if this helps i will be running a sae1200d and 2 12 dclvl 3s

so i just want to know if it shoulfd work and what to look for

really? a cap on a sundown amp? how bout getting a real battery and trying that. will do far more than a crapacitor

yea but for what you pay for a cap u can pay a tad bit more and get way more outta it. really though u will still get massive voltage drop with a cap on a 1200 rms amp.

HE MAY NOT KNOW HE HAS VOLT LOSS THEN. WHEN IM AT IDLE I GET ALOT OF VOLT DROP BUT FOR SOME REASON IT DOESNT DIM MY HEADLIGHTS. DOESNT MEAN I HAVNT CHECKED WITH DMM AND YEP IM GETTING VOLT LOSS.

Get a small batcap or hc600. Little more expensive than caps but WAY better and if you ever upgrade your power you'll be glad u got a little battery than a cap.

how is my post saying spend more? i said spend less. cuz ur gonna need that big of a cap to get anything progressive. but 80 farads is waht u wanna look for and yes fuse it if thats what ur looking for
