Anybody know this?

Hey guys, anybody know if it will affect anything in my car if I take the stock deck out. Its a 2009 dodge caliber srt4. Will any lights on the dash turn on. I'm not going to use a harness that's why I'm asking. Just running power and ground wires to the 880prs.

The aftermarket harness is $130. So I don't want to pay that much for a harness. Just will loose my steering wheel controls & the cd text display besides the tach. Don't know if it'll do anything bad to the car though. Just want to make sure. Thanks.

i dont blame you the 2 parts of my harness was 140 i said screw it and just ran the wires myself.

well I could save money for more car audio stuff & performance parts. I think its just a lil steep for just a harness.

It says the harness has a canbus thing, I was worried if I run my own wires a light or something may go on. I was already going to just run new wires to the doors. Really easy. I'm pretty much using the HU for the rca outputs. Running amps for everything.
