I am looking to throw in 1 mtx thunder elit 1501d as well as a mtx thunder elite te1004.

I have a 2009 Volkswagen gli 2.0 turbo which comes with a 140 amp alternator and a pretty big battery. Do you guys think the car will be able to handle this and what issues am I looking at. I know I should be doing the big 3 etc... but my question here is in regards to a completely stock setup. These amps are pretty powerful so I am looking for some input here. Thanks so much in advance.

Yeah, I am concerned with the fact that I have xenon headlamps from the factory and what damage they would suffer with that 1501d pounding. What do you think about this?

Not sure what kind of damage they would take on with that in mind, but as I said if you would be semi-active long enough to buy a decent battery for the rear as well as do the big three, I seriously doubt that you're going to see any problems out of it.

I know that the big three is important but I dont want to do that now. I know its not a big job in general but I have a feeling that this volkswagen makes things hard to get to. I think I may just go with slightly less power for the subs instead. Tje 1501d is probably too much to ask of a stock electrical system.
