Nothing is worse than my car. I paid it off and a month later, the engine and alty goes. I let it sit for a few months and got it fixed. Soon as i paid for that, I need 2 front tires because they dry rotted from sitting on an incline in the snow for so long. And I has all of my fluids exchanged in it just to be safe. Up until then, I had the started, radiator and a bunch of other stuff done.
A few months, problems and batteries later, I finally hooked up my system and on the way to get it done, the motor on my driver's window might be shot. It won't go up or down. Luckily it went up before it went to shit.
I feel for you though. You were taking the path that I was trying to hook it up slowly. most important thing is to make sure your truck is running before you throw the system in. the car audio will be there.
