edit: unless you mean forcefully/physically JAMMED

I do. Ive seen a CD with a chipped or broken edge jam into an otherwise fine player for example.

mine is doing the same thing. it has lifted and i can see the rim of the CD, but it wont actually push the CD out.

i got the name and location of a local shop that is a certified clarion repair/service center so im gonna call them when i get out of class. how much do you think it will run me if it has to be disassembled and all?

no clue, but if you do it yourself it will be really cheap!

agreed....

just not sure of how to take it apart since it has the flip-out monitor and all. dont wanna mess anything up. i think im going to call and get a rough estimate and if its not too bad, I think i'll bring it there. if they are looking to charge me an arm and a leg, ill do it myself (with a lot of help from ppl on here im sure)

Like I said earlier, its most likely a dust build up in the gears of the ejection mechanism. Simple fix. Spray a can of compressed air with the straw into the CD slot to rid of the debris. This thing is 4 years old and I'll bet my bottom dollar that thing is quite filthy inside lol.
