could i get a good sql setup if i went ported and tuned it to ~34-36 hz

Ported at 35hz would sound very nice. I've heard the 15's tuned to 38hz and SQ was very solid on them with tons of low end...

lol, i wonder if anyone has actually run two identical subs in seperate boxes, one ported and one not. Best of both worlds

probably not due to cancellation, you could do it and run like an switch that would be pretty sweet

I think a properly built ported box can sound just as good as a sealed box
