Cant decide which amp for (2)10w3 d-2's???

if the rms is the same for ur 10w3 and the 10w3v2 (300rms)

none of those amps will give u 600 watts.

between the amps u've listed i'd prolly get 2 250/1 with ur dual 2ohm vc because it will give 250 at 4ohm.

or an amp that does 600watts rms at 2 ohm or 0.5 ohm

u need more than 600watts to get a good performance from 2 10w3's.......u need around 1000-1200watts the most ...what kind of box r they going in?

talk to hccafan about an orion 1200d

here are my options. a jl 500/1, j 250/1, or a jl e1400. which amp will produce the cleanest sound with a lot of bass for the buck????
you need power (and headroom) to make bass sweet, give your subs more than the rated power for best results.and if your electrical system is stock, use a class D amp because a powerfull regular class a/b will kill your electrical and not get the current it needs to power your subs. there are many good class D amps on the net 1000 wrms + for less than $300. dont be in a rush, do your homework and get a good one, . my reccomendation a phoenix gold xenon 1200, bad things have been said about this amp but i have been running one forover a year and no problems. i think they have fixed any issues with this line of amps?

problem fixed... i just bought a jl 500/1 that was only used for less than two months on ebay for $300 shipped. could of bought one for $250, but the guy didnt have the actual pics of the amp and the other one did. thanks for all the help.

i had the subs powered by a memphis 16st-1000D amp and it sounded alright. wanted to try this amp just to see which one i like better. if not ill just sell it or trade it for something else. i need to get a new box. thats probably where one of my problems is.

the 500/1 will be more than sufficient. that is a strong amp, and virtually bulletproof. make sure the subs are in a good box built to specs and you will be fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i had a 500/1 on a pair of 12w3v2's until i got a 10w7. the 12's did very well, but didn't quite have the accuracy and low end i was looking for, regardless of what box i put them in. the w7 fixed that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
