Can't decide on an enclosure design for a Type-R

Ive been searching for a few days now. Im not 100% stuck on a Type-R, but id like to go with it if I can.

What im looking for is something that can hit some lower notes on some rap songs as well as being able to handle dubstep, electronica, and hard rock. Id be happy to settle somewhere in between to get the best of both worlds. My main concern is the sub sounding sloppy on rock or punchy bass.

I found this design here. 1.6cu.ft. @ 32. How would that do? Should it be tuned a little higher? Can a ported box allow for punchy bass?

The car is a 06 Mazdaspeed6 and the sub will be running off 500wrms.

id tune it closer to 35 if i was you, whats your price range on a sub because for 150 there are other subs id rather have

No more than $200 for the sub. So tuning at 35 would be the best of both?
