can't decide on an amp

my current oldschool 4 channel Soundstream (75x4 @ 4ohm) has finally taken its toll. So now im in the market for a new equal to or better amp.

these are the amps im looking into:

Arc Audio KS300.4: 90x4 @ 4 ohms, 175x4 @ 2ohms, 350x2 @ 4ohms briged

Sundown 100.4: 100x4 @ 4ohms, 160x2 @ 2ohms, 320x2 @ 4ohms Bridged

Cadence ZRS-1004: 100x4 @ 4ohms, 200x4 @ 2 Ohms, 400x2 @ 4 Ohms Bridged

Hifonics ZXi 8408: 110Wx4 @ 4ohms, 220Wx4 @ 2 ohms, 440Wx2 @ 4 ohms Bridged

i have the opportunity to buy the arc audio used for $300. But the Hifonics is $220 brand new and puts out more power. i am running 6.5 rainbow germaniums and 1 ID8V3 D2.

what would make the most sense? Is the extra $ for the others make sense compared to the brand new Hifonics?

One thing to look at is the voltage these number were rated at.

But i'm sure if you don't want to spend the extra money for a sundown or something, Hifonics will be good enough.

i dont mind spending the extra money, but if i dont have to it'd obviously be nice to have the extra $ in my pocket.

the only amp i know that is rated at 13.8v is the cadence. not sure about the others. is it that big of a difference in power rating from 12v to 13.8?

I personally would run the Sundown. But if you dont want to shell out the extra money, the Hi-Fonics would be fine.

arc fanboy here. current amps are 10 years old in my car. I hope they still build them good and I would go with them again for sure.

ok it looks like ive narrowed it down to 2 amps.

Arc Audio KS300.4 (90x4 @ 4 ohm) and the Eclipse XA4000 (125x4 @ 4ohm).

I can get both for roughly the same price used. what would you go for?

Get the arc. Great amp. Awesome sound quality. Also quite underrated. You will be extremely happy.
