Cant decide on a head unit

I have been looking for head units since that is my next thing to install in my car and i just cant seem to deicde one one. I have been looking at alpine, kenwood, and pioneer. I just want some reviews on a good headunit with lots of controls for sound that is a single din. i would like to spend no more then 250 on it also.

I want a sub settings 5 band equalizer a hpf and lpf settings control there are other details i cant think of that my friend has on his kenwood that i like but i dont want the exact same head unit as his. It has alot of settings.

most old pioneers has all that. I have the DEH P860mp. it is also mp3. it has aux in and a bus for cd changer. it has 11 band eq and 6.5volt pre out for subs, mids high or subs, rear, front.
