Human nature fa shizzle. But I mean common sense has to come in somewhere. Shouldnt there be some gain to outweigh the cost of the war? To me it just doesnt seem like that would happen. I think China is thinking that taiwan will surrender. Or maybe they will be pressured into no going for formal independence. I also put the blame on taiwan for pushing this issue so hard. They too could just say ok, lets just chill for a lil while. Give it 10 years and this will be resolved some other way. That's what I think these Muhammed caricature protests are gonna turn into. I know the thread was made when it first happened, but damn, these protests are getting more common. They just tried to hit up the U.S. Embassy in Indonesia. Why are they specifically targeting the U.S. (aside from the other nations), anyone know? Wasn't it a group of Danish who originally made up these cartoons?
It makes Muslims look bad and act as if they were carrying out what was drawn in the caricatures. I'm Christian. People make fun of Jesus and depict him in the wrong light everyday (according to what I believe), but you don't see me throwing bombs over Baghdad (yeah, I just liked how that sounded).

They are mentally deranged. They make no sense. A cartoon is put out and their resolution is to kill people? Then they want us to say we're sorry and pull the cartoon? The extremist right muslims are the biggest threat to the world economy right now. Yet unlike christians, the left protects the muslims which are more to the extreme right than christians. Maybe the further to the right you go the closer to the left you get.

I have been saying that ever since I knew I was going to Iraq and started paying attention to the things that go on. Nothing over there makes any sense, and they use their religion to justify all their stupidy and stupid acts. Meanwhile thats the only thing they use their religion for.

Religion is an a nice excuse to create violence or create havoc. You can take anything out of the Bible or Qu'ran to justify any action, and that is what people do.

Exactly what ive been saying. The thing in Nigeria is crazy. Its turning into a "religous war" the nigerian muislims have been acting out against christians over there.
