Im not positive, but doesnt the civic have factory tweeters? Im assuming this because most factory cars do. You could get a nice comp set and do an active front stage doing what the other guy mentioned with the jl processor and the active eq. Mine doesn't. I got the cheap version b/c this is just a commuter car and it does not have factory tweeter location. This is why I didn't want comps, because I don;t want to have to cut up this new car to add tweeters. I don't see any good places to put tweeters and to be honest, I don't have confidence in my installation skills and experience to cut up the car and add tweeters somewhere although what you mention sounds nice.
