Can you find this amp?

Hey guys (and ladies)..

I am, for whatever reason, having little luck in finding amps of the power I need, in the price range I need.. and I know they exist.

Here's what I need and why.

An amp with good Sound Quality -- (But in the 200-250$ range) to run 2 front speakers at 100watts RMS a piece,.. and 1 Sub at 300watts RMS. Also, if possible, an amp that tends to not overheat in tight spots.

And if you are good finding this type of thing.. I'm "considering" putting 2 more speakers in the rear. So similar price range (can go up to $300 if necessary) for an amp that will push.

100watts RMS x 2, 70watts RMS x 2, and 300 Watts X 1. Same deal with the heat capability.

I've thought about looking at the Class D amps because of the heat.. but I hear the sound quality isn't so great if used for your front mids and tweets.. And space wise I'm looking for a single amp to run it all.

Just trying to see and expand my options here... maybe it just doesn't exist in this pricerange. Shrug. But if you can help let me know.

Thanks for the replies so far.. Looking at them now. Oh and this is going into all 4 ohm speakers.. no 2ohm loads.

100watts x 2 and 300watts x 1 all at 4ohm for the initial setup.

If I can get it at the right price.. then I'll throw in some mb quarts I have.. and I'd need 100watts x 2, 70watts x 2, and 300 watts x 1 (all 4 ohm).

Of course 100 watts x 4 + 300 watts x 1 is fine.. higher is fine, lower not so much.

The digital Designs SS5 is absolutely perfect,.. but obviously WAY out of my price range. I'll go $300 or so.. but it runs a $1000. 125x4 + 300 x 1 .. absolutely perfect for my needs. But it would be silly to spend my entire budget on an amp.. I could grab a 4 channel that's 100 x 4, and a class D that's 300watts for around $300'ish. I'm trying to avoid two amps due to space,.. but I can see why a single amp that will run 100w x 4 and 300w x 1 would be way beyond my range.

The amps SamIam is linking are underpowered.. on some of them if I could run 2 ohms on these 4ohm speakers they are close.. but need to match the resistance of the speakers. Appreciate it tho!

ct sounds 4 channel all day man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif in that 350z you dont have much room.

Boston Acoustics GT40 Four 4 Channel Car Amplifier 4 Gauge 245 Watts RMS New 090283244505 | eBay

or this runs at 1 ohm per channel made in italy pretty hard to beat in sq. if you want a 4 channel this is your only option as you can run lower imp with the 4 speakers and sub

Boston Acoustics GTA-1105 5 Channel System Amplifiers at Onlinecarstereo.com

or just buy this 5 channel and gives you a mono at 400rms at 2 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif will also run 4 speakers on their own channels with separate crossovers.

Alpine PDX V9 2yr Wrnty 1600W 5 Channel Class D Car Audio Stereo Amplifier 793276011602 | eBay

I am seeing these used from 310-360 bucks.

i would definitely look at some PPI amps. Their new black ice series has great reviews

phantom series are known to perform pretty well too.

ive heard the sedona line isnt like it used to be, not worth it

and then the power series is their top of the line but for the prices you could get something better.

they have many amp configurations too so mosrt likely you can find what youre looking for.

but if you want something nice without breaking the bank, the best thing to do is to be patient and fish around on forums, ebay and Craigslist for a deal on a quality used amp.

sorry i didnt see you price requirement

the dd amps are good though if you ever want to bit the bullet and i was quoted 850 from a local dealer by me so the msrp isnt what you buy it for unless you order direct. it will be the next amp i buy for my truck. i jst bought a m1c for my car and it does amazing for running at lower voltages. my car isnt set up yet for big power so 1k at 2ohm drops to 12.8v quick but the dd is designed and rated for 11.8 and up so the lower voltage doesnt bother it at all.
