can you buy just a new face plate?

so my car got broken into a few nights back.....i got lucky they didn't get anything in the truck but they did get a few things. my radar detector, idop, remote for deck, and just the face plate from my deck. so i'm wondering if you can buy just face plates for decks? it's a pioneer only about two years old and i can't remember what model off the top of my head.

well that happened to me also. an the face plate cost like 70 bucks. i only paid 125 for the HU lol. so i just went and bought a new HU.

very good suggestion i never thought of!!! just look for ur HU real cheap on ebay then just use that face plate or that HU instead.

Why would a thief take a face plate and leave the radio, when there is more money in a radio than a face plate?

cuz its more work then they thought so they just ran off with the plate that pops off easily.or mabye they got scared off or for any reason.

it ain't worth it to buy the faceplate new. cost to much. as said earlier look on ebay.

like i said it was just a quick shity job. they didnt even look in the trunk. plus my neighbor said his alarm started going off and when he went out they were already gone so they were cut short on time
