so then what do i use. cuz ive been working on this for like an hour and it stil isnt work. im using a paper clip. im not gettin this shi. also my tinsel threads is cloth like thread from clothing. thanks

Tinsel leads are on a speaker to conduct electricity. Cloth fibers do not conduct electricity. Therefore, you are wrong about one point or the other. Which is it?

to connect the two wires. serious theres cloth fiber there. but the part closes to tha cone is metal.
