can the e8 take it?

When you say you cant get any output, meaning that the sub is not playing at all, or just not keeping up with your fronts? Have you tried switching phase, checking polarity etc? That 1508 in the right box with that power should be slamming. You do have some fairly loud fronts (z6's), it might just be that 1 8 wont keep up. In that case you can go with the 4 e8's, just set your gain lower to get about 1000 watts to the subs, rather than 1600, and you will be fine.

no theres hardly any output. Ive tried re-wiring them, tried my 1200d and my 225hcca and you can't even tell its there. You can't feel the bass, can't hear it or anything.

What kind of power can the e8 take in a 0.28 sealed box? Im thinking about doing 4 of them off an hcca275, but im not sure if they can take the power.
The 275 puts out around 1600 @ 1 ohm right?
2 x 75W @ 4 ohms

2 x 150W @ 2 ohms

2 x 300W @ 1 ohm

2 x 600W @ ½ ohm

1 x 300W @ 4 ohms bridge

1 x 600W @ 2 ohms bridge

1 x 1200W @ 1 ohm bridge

this might be why your 1508 isnt putting out the sound you want....

in that case even with the box dims i told you about wouldnt do much for you.

1508's really start to shine with around 800 to them

this is very true about the 1508. i had mine running on a mtx6500d(500w rms) and on bones22's suggestion i swithced amps to a 81000d and sent that bish a solid 1k and let me tell ya that thing came to life big time.

1 x 425 watts @ 4 Ohms

1 x 725 watts @ 2 Ohms

1 x 1200 watts @ 1 Ohm on the 1200d.....

just like bones said....800 is what it takes to get them to start to shine....need a bigger amp if you are goin to run that dd to where it needs to be...
