Can my stock alt take this much power?

well im gettting ready to order all my shit and i was wondering what i should do to my car so it wont get drained im getting 1600bxi amp and kicker 350 4 channel amp

I had just a bxi1606 on a stock 105amp alt. never gave me a problem.

I think you'll be safe. just get a really nice batt and I think you're good.

How many amps does ur alt put out? Im running 2500 watts on my stock 150A alt and also will be getting another amp for components.

I'm running about 2600 RMS all Class A/B off a stock 90A alt and 1000CCA battery.

I've been running 2000+W for years.

According to my deck's voltage display, I do get voltage drop when idling if I'm hammering on it. At mod volumes, nothing below high-12s at idle, and usually 12.5-13.3 when fully cranked at anything above idle.

Do the big 3, install, and go from there. If you have dimming issues get an alternator.

I'd personally invest the money in an alternator instead of a yellowtop, but I seem to be a dying breed in that regard.
