can my IDQ12 take it

I posted awhile back about a decent sq sub and I took your recommendation and bought myself a IDQ12V2.D2 . My delema is I messed up and got the wrong ohm sub for the amp I ordered (Mb Quart DSC2150) it is

150rms@4omhs x 2

300rms@2omhs x 2

600rms@2omhs x 1

I was thinking buy one 2 ohm speaker run 1 channel at 300w if it isn't enough get another sub. I am told with the dual voice coil I am going to run 1ohm or all 600w. I have read alot of reviews talking about how underrated these speakers are but not sure if it can handle nearly double. I can control myself not looking to showboat. I can resist the urge to crank up the gain.

u can run a sub that is rated for 200 rms off an amp rated at 2000 rms as long as u set your gains right

I am just looking for a little bass resonance in my music. I have 6.5 kappa front speaker and 6x9 kappas in the rear w/ no amp so I don't need to much power. ALthought the car is a former drag car that has no sound deadening and a pretty loud motor putting turbo muffler hoping to tone it down a bit but will still be pretty audible in cab. I just want to be able to hear the words in my music.
