Can my drivers take more

I hear alot of talk about how a company underrates the RMS of their drivers. I've seen countless threads were people are told that they should give their subs more power, and that they can handle it.

What about mine?

(2) JL 10w1v2-8(sealed) They are rated at 125, and I think that I have them together receiving 220.

Could they handle 220 individually?

I emailed JL and asked what would be the best amp for a 10w6 and I was told that the 250/1 or 500/1 would be fine. The 10w6 is rated @300w

I wouldn't push a JL much past its rated output.....
Past their rated output ay? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I assume you mean you wouldnt feed it any more power than rated?

No factors matter besides the sub ay?
