can it be louder

i have 2 12inch hx2 subs being pushed by a jbl600 i have each sub wired at 2ohm and it sounds real good but i want more bass and i was wondering if i should get another hx2 sub,will this make my system louder just because i added another sub or should i let all the power just go to the 2 subs i have insted of feeding one sub all the power and spliting power between the other two subs

sell your JBL 600 and get the 1200.1. It will get alot louder

well, you'll be ******* power from the other two subs to power the new third sub, so i'd have to say it won't help much. if you have the money to buy an additional sub, i'd also recommend selling the 600 and going to a 1200.

If you haven't already sound deadened the crap out of everything, then definately do that, it will make your amps more effective, all your spkrs seem louder and cleaner and you'll hear a lot more of your music. Outside of that, I'd have to go with everyone elses suggestion. Get a 1200.1. They are cheap enough if you know where to look (that link is the cheapest I've seen them).

Either way, I'd sound deaden first becuz more volume will only create more rattles and still be operating ineffeciently.

If you are poor like me...you can just get bigger/ported boxes and use that...
