Can it be done?

Thank you for all your help btw squeak.

Are there specific speaker amps? Or just buy another seperate say 600 watt amp for them, is that too much?

I have a 620 watt amp now, would I be able to send that power to the speakers, and buy another, more powerful amp to power the woofers?

Given the brand of your current amplifier, I'm going to go ahead and presume that 620w is the Max power rating rather than the RMS power rating.

A true 600w RMS is more than most any component set will need.

50w - 100w per channel will be more than sufficient.

Profile and US Acoustics are two pretty good budget amplifier. Or, look around for sales on other decent amplifier, such as this:

http://www.cardomain.com/item/ROCP2002 - Quality 50w x 2 amplifier for $100 shipped, with warranty

http://profilecaraudio.com/amplifiers.htm#Specifications4 - Manufacturer refurb rated 150w x 2 for $65 plus shipping

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ZijFwbU0uyp/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?wm=fp&I=489AP400 - 65w x 2 for $80 plus shipping

For good quality speakers, PM a member named 6spcoupe on here and see what all he has in your pricerange.

Also, since I'm not sure if Don (6spdcoupe) carries OZ Audio, PM Tplaya07 on here and see about the OZ Audio Vector series.
