Never liked the Olds, used their 455 in jetboats, thats about it. I had a '76 Formula with a factory 400P and swapped in a 455 Pontiac. Gonna put the decals back on the T/A?

LOL, wouldn't waste a good Ford engine.

I may put the stickers back on, after I decide whether or not to go back to original color

How long have you been a mechanic?

They used the same dealers , does that mean a Olds is a Pontiac?. A 4.3 V6 and a 305 V8 can use the same water pump, are they the same motor? A 403 is an Olds engine, admit it and get over it.

The only reason they do share many parts is because a 4.3 is a v8 with 2 cylinders cut off the backend.
