Can i use power wire for ground ?

I'm sure if you asked this same question to a Best Buy rep, they'd tell you that if your power wire isn't red, and the ground wire isn't black, then you'll blow your amp.

Alot of brands use CCA wire (which is silver, doesnt carry as much amperage as copper) For their ground wire because its cheaper, and will only be going a short distance where resistance isnt much of an issue in the average install. Im using CCA wire for my grounds and theyre only about 3 inches long so no biggie. Technically full copper wire would be best though.
