Can I use 2 CVR's (dual4ohm's) with a zx750.1 amp??

yea u will only be getting about 375 watts to both subs so roughly 175 to each. You need dual 2 ohm to work for a 2ohm load. or keep your subs and get a 1ohm stable amp

It's not even worth using if I am only getting 175 rms. These subs are about 450 rms each. that amp will run @ 1 ohm if you have any kind of decent electrical

try 1ohm, just watch the amp and wacth out for heat.

just sell the subs and get the dual 2 ohm versions.i know it sucks.sometimes you have to spend more money when you find out you didnt chose the right equipment to begin with.it happens to the best of us.i wouldnt run that amp on 1 ohm though,you might find urself spending more than $150 if you do.

I've been wondering if that amp can be 1 ohm stable myself. So far I haven't run into anyone that has put it to 1 ohm. I have decent stock electrical but I may just wait till I switch to 0 gauge before I try.

I've had it and run it at 1ohm with no problems at all. Every kicker amp I've had I've run lower than rated safe impedence and they handle it fine

How long have you continously powered these amps at 1 ohm? And, at high volume, too? I'm thinking if the amps are not stable at 1 ohm, then either the amp will clip / protect mode maybe at high volume or, there is some kind of damage being done like slowly frying the board...

Did the Kicker amps get really hot?

Has anyone heard of putting a fuse on the positive sub wire, thus dropping the Ohms lower? I'm wondering if I can do this to my dual 4ohm CVR's? And, what amp fuse to use if this works?
