can i tune low

Dude don't do the 15 in 3 cubes in a box that was designed for another sub. Recipe for a shitty sounding substage. Don't do it halfass. I see the sub you are looking at. You can get a nice 12 for that price. Get a sundown sa-12 and throw it in that box.
im trying to stay away from a single 12inch sub stage. the only thing good about the single 12inch sub stage would b that i have a box allready and the 200-240 for the sub would get me a nice 12 but im not looking to run a low rms 12 so i would need another battery and i would b over my 600 for everything. keep in mind i need a new radio. im back to stock.

WTF are you talking about? You don't have enough space for that 15, period unless you build a new box. Sorry. There is no disadvantage to doing a 12 at this point. The sa-12 can take 1000-1200 rms without an issue. That doesn't mean you need to feed it that much. The sa-12 will sound worlds better than the HDC in that box. And the sa-12 is only 190 shipped

im saying i have had a single 12inch sub i wana try somthing eles. when i had my mag off a audioque 1200d i had to get another battery and i dont wana do alot just for a single 12inch sub. i know about those sa-12 inch subs im not a big fan of them.

Why wold you have to buy a battery to run a 12 and not buy a battery to run a 15? Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Unless you are willing to use more space and build a new box, the hdc will perform like shit in that box. And 800rms isn't enough either, I had 2k on mine and it still wanted more.

i have a stock alt and at 1200rms i had to get another battery. i was at one ohm and i was thinking i would b at 2 ohms and at 800rms it would b less on my electrical system . im just tryin to make things work i might look in to something eles. well see

You don't need a second battery with 1200rms trust me. I ran 2k+ on a single stock battery and alternator. Big 3 is all you need. Forget the hdc. You don't have enough power or space.

i have a 70 amp alt 2 ga in my car and i have a brand new starter battery under my hood. and i did my grounds the alt is a pain in the *** to get to. i would drop to 12.4-12.9 when i did not have my battery. when i got the battery i was at 13.4 all day with my lights on etc etc. it sucks i wish i got a truck lol
