burn away. smoke it up! just make sure after you finish smoking you rinse your mouth out with antiseptic mouthwash or wahtever the dentist told you to rinse with.

I wouldn't. The smoke can dissolve the clot, or the act of you smoking the joint (*******) can pull the clot out. If that happens, the odds of you getting a dry socket increase big time. A dry socket is essentially your bone being exposed to the surroundings, usually causing it to inflame due to infection. This is EXTREMELY painful. You seriously can't wait for a week? And no, a dentist doesn't tell you this just to fucking scare you, take it from a pharmacy student.
Just take all the pain medication you want man, but just hold off on smoking for a few days. Usually after the first 3 days, or whenever the swelling goes down, you can smoke, use a straw, eat hard food etc.

All the weed heads I know are losers. They either don't work, or jump from job to job and aren't very stable. Pretty much losers. I believe if someone wants to do it in there own home, and by there own home I mean they live by themselves and not with their parents and can support themselves then go ahead but just remember it's illegal. As long as the only person being affected is yourself then do as you please. The main reason I'm for it being illegal is because people are just too irresponsible. You'll have more people smoking weed while driving and doing stupid crap like that. Too many idiots out there.

I make double next to everyone except my dad and a very select few friends, hold the second highest position where i work. Have full benefits, forty hours at a minimum, own two cars and one project car, and will soon be moving from a 3 bedroom apart into a 4 bedroom house. On the same note i know losers...but I see it as you are who you are. I know losers who barely even drink a beer or smoke a cig occasionally. Its all about the person (mentallity) and what that person wants to do with him or herself.

I can drink beer and get a buzz, get drunk even if I drink a couple 12 packs.

I look at it like this, most people can be stung by a bee and it's no big deal. If I get stung by a bee I have to stick an epi pen in my leg or I could potentially die before I get to the hospital.

As an interesting aside that just came to me, I have a friend who is allergic to marijuana. He smoked and went into shock and stopped breathing. Fortunately the guy he was with did mouth to mouth until the ambulance got there. He simply had an alergy to weed.

Maybe I'm just the opposite, something in my body chemistry might not process THC? I don't know.

I eat peanuts all the time. Peanuts can kill some people. Who knows?

Same here, I know people who smoke who have great successful lives, and people who smoke who llive in their mom's basement at age 40. Does it destroy brain cells? Sure! Does drinking? Sure! I drink and I still IQ test in the 99.9th + percentile. God gave us extra brain cells to burn on our vices lol.

Oh god and Vicodin ITCHES. Take a handful on Benadryl with those. When I exploded my lower back I kept Benadryl in business, pain killers make me scratch until I bleed! Don't remember being constipated though...

Yeah well be careful mixing stuff. It's like rolling the dice depending on what you are mixing. Ask Heath Ledger, or numerous other people. I can't say I'm not guilty of said sin though, I'm on a couple of prescription meds that say no drinking on them, and I drink regardless... but I did do my homework first.

I'll elaborate. Not that I really care, but it is illegal. Smoking weed might cost you a great job one day due to a failed random drug test, most emplyers DO care that it's illegal. Weed isn't cheap, and it doesn't really get you high. I've smoked before, and I honestly couldn't tell that it did anything. Most of the effect is a placebo effect... studies have shown this. You are basically burning your money. If you HAVE to do drugs, do something that actually gets you "high." Unfortunately said drugs usually have pretty serious side effects, addiction and death being two of the bigger ones, and I definitely don't recommend using them either.
I am an advocate for legalizing marijuana, and all drugs for that matter. That doesn't mean I'm going to run out and do any of them if they are made legal. It will simply remove the criminal element from the drug trade, provide a source of revenue via taxes, and reduce the costs of drugs to the end user.

As an ex touring musician I'm no "goody two shoes." I've tried my share of drugs in my younger years, I still enjoy the occasional beer, and I smoke cigarettes.
