I really need a nice set of components but, right now I dont have the money set for an amp. And my speakers are cracked and I need something else. I am going to put an amp but not til i get a check in 3 weeks. And I cant wait that long to listen to good music. I was just wondering if it is bad to put these speakers on no amp for a little time. Will they sound any good at all running on HU which is a DEH-P940MP.

You would only be feeding ur kicker composet half of what it can give you altho your pioneer deck is a straight quality HU which will power them quite well.

Just wire them to it and let it amaze you
