gut urself a msall relay from radioshack and hook it up so that the power signal comign in runs off ur remote on wire for ur sub amp..........relays are dirt cheap and not hard to figure out how to setup, however for a quick hook up i recommend askin professionals or knowledgeable ppl

if you can find one small enough to fit INSIDE the amp, id prolly do that. use a multimeter to find the trace on the board that leads from the REM post, and tap into that, also use a multimeter to find whrere there is a grounded spot on the board.

you can try to follow this, but instead of using an LED, you could put a fan inside. but try and get a relay if you can. it will be much safer. in fact, you could run the relay OUTSIDE of the amp hidden in the trunk, just as long as its before the amp and the fan would be the best idea //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

i would prolly get a plastic pen, and take the tube off, and cut it into smaller equal segments, hot glue them to the chassis of the fan, and then hot glue the bottom of the tubes to the board. try and make sure there is room on top and bottom of the fan //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

take pictures. ^_^

try and use one of those really slim computer fans.

i think i will do the relay thing. i am sure i can find instructions on how to do that somewhere around this forum...thanks

The best thing to do is have the fans blow on the heatsink fins. Blowing on the circut board won't be nearly as effective, since the transistors are the part that produce the most heat by far, and they are directly attached to the heatsink

directly attached to the heat sink from the inside. so you dont think its best to have fans blow on what is creating the heat instead of whats dispersing it? well i guess i should see if i even have the same problem before i try to fix it....thanks
