Can i pick someones brian who has run a v3 mag in several boxes please.

Basically since it seems to be a dead market I am going to toss my 15" mag into my CTS-V and call the part collection complete. I have an awesome sheet of Birch Ply hanging around the garage that I am going to make the box with and wanted to start on that box before I do the rest of the system. I have yet to use the mag and wanted to get some ideas on the box.

At first I was going to go with a sealed box because I usually like the sound of sealed subs more then ported but I want output as well and since I'm going to run a single sub I figure that I can just tune it low and go for a good sounding ported box.

So as of right now I am looking at building a box that’s looking this:

3.74 Cubes before displacement

30.09 Hz (slot)

37.5 sq in port area

Anyone with experience with the mags have any inside info or advice before I build this box? Everything I have searched seems to point to this being a fairly common size and tune for these subs but I really don’t want to make 5 boxes before I figure out what one I like.

Why ?

That version of the Mag was known to be a compromise to the SPL crowd.
