The van is not lined up perfectly over the car. The wheel is hanging over the Lambo's fender. Apparently.
All I keep thinking is regular doors would have been safer and easier to open in just such an accident.

judging by the position, this "debris" is probably under the car.a lambo with a nose sitting low like that will easily slip under an SUV like that.

if there was a second picture you would be able to see.

this... I used to own a fiat x1/9 and it had a nose similar to this car. I drove it right under a jeep cherokee and it slid nicely right under it.

how is the lambo wheel overlapping the suv wheel if it's real? That's what i don't get..

it is not centered. duh. the lambo is over to the left about a foot. NPTICE THE LAMBO DOOR OPEN

THat SUV bumper is higher then the LAMBO bumper so it wedged under and forced the SUV up. I would also guess that the impact caused a bounce which is wy it is so deep under the SUV.

That LAMBO will have a FCKED up paint job 4sure,

This theory hinges on the fact that a Santa Fe SUV would have better braking power than a Lamborghini. I think its much more likely the Lambo driver just wasn't paying attention at just the wrong time.

Shitty thing is the lambo will be at fault for following too close.

Even if the idiot infront of you slams on their brakes for no reason if you hit them from behind you are always at fault.

Likely a lot more damage than just paint.. It's supporting the entire weight of that other vehicle..

I dont consider that shitty. The car behind me cant see everything happeneing in front of me. I deserve the ability to hit my brakes hard in an emergency without fear of the guy behind me not leaving a large enough gap and slamming into me.

Then it's the follower's fault...they shouldn't be following that close in the first place. The situation doesn't matter. Whether or not it's a dropped cell phone or a foot cramp, if I accidentally(or just flat out have to) hit the brakes, I shouldn't have to worry about some jackass rear-ending me.

Wrong. The person behind you should follow in a manner that allows them enough time to brake and not hit you, regardless of the situation. It's pretty easy to tell what your driving style is like based on your response. I'd also guess that you don't like taking responsibility for your actions, in this case, unsafe driving.

I agree with you but I also think it's shitty.

Yes if someone drops their cell phone and causes an accident, I think they should at least hold some responsibility. But the driver behind her should be ready for just such a situation, because a child darting out in front of the car in front of you would cause the same emergency stopping reaction as the dropping a cell phone and panicking example would.
