Can I enclose a Bazooka?

Thinking about getting a Bazooka powered sub tube for my '02 Odyssey. There's no great place to put it/protect it/conceal it. Since the center tray/Honda's poor excuse for a center console is a rattly piece of $*@&, I was thinking about fabricating my own console/box and housing the bazooka tube inside it. Will that work without restricting the sub's performance as long as I leave the sub's port unobstructed?

Alternate plan: anyone had experience with the Sound Ordnance powered subs that fit under your seat?

Don't waste your money on a Bazooka tube unless you can get a powered one for very cheap and don't want to spend ~125-150 on a good low powered setup.

Thanks for the reply. So, any suggestions on a good low-powered setup? I really don't want to add a mono amp etc, so powered is my preferred route.
