Hi there, I have a newer model alpine 4 channel amp, its rated a 4x75rms at 4ohms and a 220rmsx2 at 4ohms bridged.

Here is my dilema, I just sold my mono amp because Im gonna buy a new one, the problem is that my sub is wired to a 2ohm load.

would I burn the amp if I run it bridged on the 2 rear channels to a 2ohm load? Would it be OK if I keep the gains down and not turn the volume to high?

I will only use it this way for a couple of weeks...

no...and yes amp will fry //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
I knew or tough it wasnt posible , just wanted an excuse... Im having a hard time, my system sounds like crap without subs...
