can i afford it?

i hear ya, the last part scares me LOL
thats why i didnt get a 00 chevy Z71..it would have gotten 6 more inches under it and 35's before i even got it home from the dealer i bought it from.

only reason the kota aint lifted yet is i have to drive about 50+ miles everyday back and forth to school..and dodges arent exactly known for their great gas mileage.

next truck i get..reg cab full size. small truck, huge horsepower
mine as well.

i almost bought one in the fall, but i couldnt get rid of my explorer before winter.

snow FTL.

00 lightning, 32,000 miles, black,

$13,500

i talked myself out of it cuz snow was approaching, but we only got 1 big snow and its been dry since, im a willy.

Sorry sir, when it comes to trucks, Id hafta say no
Ford>Chevy

Everyday anyday, F-250s will out do HD2500s.
My papa would disagree with you there big time. He test drove Dodges, GMC's, and Fords, towing his 5th wheel. His thoughs where the GMC was the most comfertable of the three and the dodge the best in performance of the three. The comfort of the GMC made up for the lack of performance comparing to the dodge. The Ford was less comfertable and didnt tow quite as well.

Ford makes good trucks, they sell like hot cakes, that doesnt mean they are the best in every instance.

cars are for transportation. i have no idea why you need such a large truck, plus your 18, you'll be stuck in a 60 month payment at high interest if they even approve an 18 year old, so now you'll have that debt and have a big *** truck and have to take all your ho's to mommy and daddy's house to have ***.

save up your money then buy the truck by that time a year will have gone by you can pay most of it off new trucks will come out the older ones will be cheaper, just be smart about it don't jump into anything. I just turned 18 and bought myself a 2000 navigator but only owe 3k on it. just be smart about it

Don't forget to add food to your budget once you move...its pretty dang expensive! Eating ramen noodles and easy mac and cheese gets old pretty quick and fast food adds up real quick...so food is one thing that can bring your budget down quick! Plus you should be putting money aside for whatever reason...car repairs, money to invest, pretty much just an "emergency fund". Shit starts to add up real quick once you move out...

I dont think you should go so big either. I think you should do a Ford F-150 and call it a day. Nice power and nice overall truck. Can pick them up pretty cheap since you seem you want used. Remember also if you go with the powerstroke, more money for the disel and then if you raise it and put bigger tires on it you will feel it at the pump as well.

Just my .02 cents.
