i am getting a re8 (4 ohm dvc) and was wondering if i can use two channels of my amp to power it. my amp is 100w x 4 @ 4 ohms. can this be done as long as it is the same signal going into each coil? also would 100w a coil be too much? the sub is rated at 175 rms.
Yes, it's perfectly fine for you to do this. And the power will be okay...i've seen penty of people with 250 watts going to theirs. My girl's are @ 165 a piece and do well. peace
