Can Dual XHD6425 use same back end as XHD6420?

Long story short, bought the Dual XHD6420 at one store, but since they didn't have installation I had Best Buy put it in. I'm thinking about getting the XHD6425 instead since it has USB. I don't want to pay Best Buy to swap out the stereos if I don't have to.

My question is, since it's basically the same model as the XHD6420, will I be able to put the XHD6425's faceplate on the back end that's already installed?

If not, shouldn't it be pretty basic to remove the XHD6420 and swap it out for the other model since the wiring is already done?

I have a 1994 VW Jetta III, if that makes a difference.

Yes, I'm pretty pedestrian when it comes to car audio. I just wanted something inexpensive that would let me play CD's in alternative file formats as well as allow aux connection.

I paid too much because I wanted to get it locally. :p $109 at HH Gregg and installation at Best Buy was $93 including parts and labor. I paid way too much, I know. At least there is the $50 rebate. My budget was $200 installed.
