I want 200-300 amp alt for Civic can't find 1

HELP! I want one, but the closest I could find for a '03 civic was 170 amps and $349.

I was told by several people and actually shown the math by one guy that for my 3000rms system I need about 270 amp alternator. I CANT FRIGGIN' FIND ONE! do you know where there are any? I would even be happy with 200+ amp recommendations please.

also- side note, I am actually only currently running 1200 rms until I get the new stuff- this alt won't damage that amp somehow will it? I guess it really wouldn't make any electrical sense at all for that to happen, but just checking.
