It has been a long time since I've done any upgrades to my system. I have had the same set up for 8 years and have not had any problems. I have the Pioneer FH-P404 double din headunit and an Infinity Beta Digital 300 powering two Solobaric L7s. I never got around to replacing the factory speakers in my Stealth before I stopped driving it two years ago.
The power in the system is great. I've hit 143.1db with it. A few months ago I was forced to bring the car out of retirement. Now I've gotten into fiberglassing and want to do some major upgrades. Mostly I just wanted to replace the factory tweets, 6.5's and 6x9's. However I came across this headunit last night and am very interested in upgrading that as well.
The unit I found was the Cadence CD-5000BT. I couldn't believe all the features available for the price. I've seen factory list prices between $400 and $500 but I can get the unit on eBay for as little as $135 shipped. I have tried to find reviews for their products and have not had much luck, especially with that particular unit. I hadn't even heard of that brand until last night, but that's an even longer story.
If anyone has had any experience with this brand I would appreciate some feedback. Pros, cons whatever. Do all the features make that unit as good as it sounds? Thanks a lot.
