can anyone help on specs??

so i dug up my old stereo stuff to stuff into my truck. problem is i dont remember anything about my subs.

they are old school 12" kicker solobarics,

would like to find out specs on them, ie ohms, wattage ect. any help would be appreciated.

I scored a great deal on a kicker zx-1000.1 amp, and i am wondering if this will be too much for the subs? originally was running them off an old pheonix gold ms250, but that went up in smoke when i hooked everything up..

You won't be able to dig that info up. These are original kickers, not much info on them anymore. I think the 1000.1 may be a tad much for them though.

nope, only thing on the backside is stillwater designs. nothing else..

how can i tell what ohm they are, is there a way to test them?

how can i tell if they are dual or single voice coil?

1.) Use a digital multimeter ($10 minimum at walmart or lowes)

2.) See how many sets of terminals are on the side, if theres 2 sets of black and red terminals, than its a dual. If theres only one set, its just a single.

thanks guys, 4 ohm, and single voice coil! just wish i knew what power they could handle.. i have them running of of a kicker zx 1000.1 wired in series running at 8ohms.

i am going to add 2 - 6 1/2 component sets and a kicker zx650.4 soon.

the subs sound great wired like they are, but i am thinking the component sets will over power them when installed. guess i just have to wait to see how it sounds when its all done.
