Can an Alpine IVA D310 fit in Caddy?

Hey, I'm getting a Cadillac Deville, (i have it, but my parents won't let me actually have it until i pay them back for it). Anyway, the first thing i'm gonna do when i get the car is replace the speakers, and i want to replace the head unit with an Alpine IVA D310 HU. would i have to take out that whole section of the dash, just so it would fit? if you have any pics of this HU in a deville like this, that would be great, (there hard to find). But any info on how i could install this or how it would work would be very appreactiaed. thanks.

What year? I'd check Crutchfield's site, or installer.com. My guess is that you'd buy a new dash piece that would allow you to switch A/C controls over to the new one and leave you with an opening in the dash for an aftermarket headunit.
