I've never understood the can-ams. The benefit of having two wheels is the ability to lean into corners and to reduce weight, making the vehicle faster. The benefit of having a car is air-conditioning, protection from the wind (the wind gets really tiring after 1,000 miles without a shield). The can-am is slow and leans to the outside of a corner, but is open air with very little protection. It's like having to drive a car with all of your riding gear on. For $13,000, you could get 3X the motorcycle and it would be fast.
Take the time to learn to ride a motorcycle and you will be a million times happier.
Just $.02 from an avid touring rider.
