can a XXX be ran at 1700watts?

Hey i was woundering if a XXX can be ran at 1500 watts? i have a HIFONICS BRUTUS BX1500D that i just bought and i want to upgrade my sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif.

my other question is, how do you link two amps up to power one sub if needed?

The rms on it is 1,600rms. So yes it can be ran at 1,500rms and no you won't be seeing 1,500rms. Get a better amp. You will probably get 1,400rms or 1,300rms.

yes it can take alot more that 1500 watts depending on the box. Keep in mind the larger the box the less wattage needed for full excursion. Is your amp good for a XXX? Yes as long as you dont make an giant size box with a small port area.
