can a stock head unit work well??

alright i havn't posted here in a while but i pretty much finally finished my car and i'm thinking of selling it.......

now heres the thing, i want an Audi A4 (can't afford the E46 M3)

now my question is when i go to put a system in this thing i really want to use the stock head unit to keep everything all nicey nice....how can i make it sound good? because i know none of you fanatics about this stuff use your stock head unit, but i'm really focused on using it mainly to keep the interior flow going.....are there any filters or eqs i can use to make this work the right way? thanks in advance for any of your help

I would recommend an adjustable loc from http://www.davidnavone.com . High quality units. I've used them in various installs for years and always had good results.

adjustable line output converter (loc). It is used to take the inputs from the speaker wires + and - and convert it to RCA cables so that you can hook up an amplifier.

look into a nakamichi...they look like stock head units...the stock head unit won't be great for anything except stock speakers...

you can always go phantom face or one of those jvc touchscreen unit...don't know if they are any good
